The Julie VOLVO SCL 3 is an emulator developed to replace the original SCL (Steering Column Lock) or ESL (Electronic Steering Lock) module in specific Volvo vehicles. This emulator simulates the signals of a functioning steering column lock, allowing the vehicle to start when the original SCL module is defective. The device functions as a permanent replacement for the steering column lock.
For the installation of the emulator, it is necessary to read the CEM (Central Electronic Module) of the vehicle. The data from the CEM is used to program the emulator, after which it can replace the defective SCL unit. The emulator is part of the Julie Emulator series from CarLabImmo and is specifically designed for the Volvo P3 platform, also known as the Ford EUCD platform.

The emulator is used to solve starting problems caused by a defective electronic steering column lock.
