The DTC remover is a plug-and-play device, specifically designed for Volvo Euro 6 trucks. This module connects directly to the vehicle's OBD diagnostic port to read and clear fault codes (DTCs). It is developed for use with models from the 2014 model year onwards, including the Euro 5 variants of the FH(4) and FM(4) series.
The device communicates with various electronic control units, such as the engine control unit (EMS), the braking system (EBS), the AdBlue module, and the automatic transmission. Its primary function is to deactivate warning lights and reset alerts on the dashboard. By clearing fault codes, the vehicle can be taken out of limp mode, lifting power and speed restrictions.
Application and functionality:
This device is designed to clear fault codes (DTCs) stored in the control units' memory. Operation requires no external software or configuration.
- Clear fault codes: Reads and removes active or stored diagnostic fault codes from supported systems, turning off warning lights on the dashboard.
- Lift limp mode: By clearing emission- or system-related faults, power and speed restrictions, also known as limp mode, are reset.
- Simple operation: The module operates via a straightforward procedure: turn on ignition, plug the device into the OBD port, wait 30 seconds, turn off ignition, remove the device, and wait 30 seconds before starting the vehicle.

The module is compatible with various Volvo truck models, mainly from the 2014 model year onwards. The device also supports the Euro 5 variants of the FH(4) and FM(4) models.
