The universal DTC remover is a plug-and-play device, specifically designed for vehicles equipped with a SID212 engine control unit (ECU) that meet the Euro 6 emission standard. This device communicates via the OBD2 diagnostic port and allows stored fault codes (DTCs) related to the engine management system to be cleared.
The device operates without the need for a computer or additional software. The module is developed to clear general and specific fault codes, including alerts related to NOx sensors and the emission system. This enables dashboard warnings to be deactivated and the limp mode to be lifted, restoring full engine power.
Application and functionality:
This DTC remover is used for reading and clearing fault codes in vehicles with a SID212 ECU. The device resets warnings and restores the full functionality of the vehicle after a malfunction.
- Clearing fault codes: Clears both generic and specific diagnostic fault codes (DTCs) from the engine control unit, focusing on NOx sensor malfunctions.
- Lifting limp mode: Deactivates limp mode and restores full engine power and normal vehicle speed by resetting active fault messages.
- Deactivating warning lights: Switches off active warning lights on the dashboard, such as the engine malfunction light.
- Plug-and-play: Easy installation by connecting the device directly to the vehicle’s OBD2 port, with no configuration required.
