The 8 in 1 Error Code Eraser (DTC) is a diagnostic module designed for clearing fault codes in trucks with Euro 6 and Euro 6.2 engines. The device operates as a stand-alone solution and connects directly to the vehicle’s OBD port. This eraser is compatible with a wide range of vehicle brands, including DAF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Scania, and Volvo. By setting the switches on the module correctly, the specific brand protocol is selected, allowing the user to switch flexibly between different vehicles.
The main function focuses on removing active DTC messages (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) from the ECU. This specifically includes resetting NOx sensor errors and faults in the AdBlue system that often cause power restrictions or a limp mode. The module clears the fault messages within a minute, restores the engine’s torque, and enables the driver to drive to a workshop without speed limits for final repair. Additionally, this version offers specific support for Iveco Daily vehicles.
Application and functionality:
The device works on a plug-and-play principle via the OBD connection. The configuration for the correct truck brand is done via the physical switches on the housing.
