The Mercedes Sprinter Euro 6 DTC remover is a standalone diagnostic tool designed for professional mechanics, fleet managers, and diagnostic technicians in the commercial vehicle sector. This plug-and-play module connects to the OBD port of the Delivery van to clear stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in various vehicle systems. The device is specifically developed for quick, on-site error resets without the need for complex diagnostic computers, which is essential for vehicles in the transport sector to minimize downtime after repairs or during temporary malfunctions.
Once the module is connected and the ignition is turned on, it immediately initiates communication with the ECU and other present control units via the internal CAN bus system. The instrument sends a global clear command that removes historical (stored) fault codes from the memory of, among others, the engine management, transmission, braking system, and the AdBlue module. If the vehicle is in a limp mode activated by a software fault, where torque or top speed is reduced, clearing the codes can temporarily lift the speed limit or permanently reset it after hardware repair, allowing the Sprinter to resume its normal operating status.
