Glass BDM-Frame for ECU Programming | Accessories
The BDM frame is a tool designed for programming and reading an Engine Control Unit (ECU) outside the vehicle. This method is known as Bench mode or BDM (Background Debug Mode). The construction consists of a base frame and a plexiglass top plate, which is equipped with integrated LED lighting for better visibility of the ECU's circuit board. The frame ensures stable and precise positioning of the programming probes on the BDM contact points.
This accessory is compatible with various ECU programming tools. The modular design allows the included probes to be connected to the programming tool, after which they can be placed exactly on the pins of the ECU. The 12V LED lighting directly illuminates the work area, reducing the chance of connection errors. The frame is suitable for use with programming tools such as those from Alientech, Dimsport, and FGTech.

The frame is used to establish a stable, hands-free connection between an ECU programming tool and the BDM port on the ECU's circuit board. This is especially applicable for tasks such as chiptuning, data recovery, and ECU cloning.
