The Autel MaxiBas BT506 is a wireless battery tester for analyzing 12V batteries and starting/charging systems in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The device works in combination with an Autel tablet via Bluetooth and supports various battery types, including conventional lead-acid, AGM, AGM Spiral, EFB, and gel. Thanks to the adaptive conductance technology, it provides accurate measurements of the actual battery condition and health status.
After connection to the battery terminals via the integrated clamps, the BT506 communicates wirelessly with the paired tablet, which displays all test results, graphs, and reports. The tester performs battery tests, starting system tests, and charging system tests and automatically detects the CCA value, voltage, and internal resistance. In combination with an Autel diagnostic tool, the technician can immediately perform a battery registration via the vehicle’s BMS system after replacement.

- Report generation: Saves test results and exports them as a report linked to vehicle data or VIN.
