The Autool BT10 is a tool for manually operating an electronic parking brake (EPB). This device allows direct control of the EPB motor to unlock or activate the parking brake, independent of the vehicle's diagnostic system. The tool operates on a operating voltage of DC 10V to 14V and is connected to the vehicle's battery using the supplied power clamps.
The design includes various safety features to prevent damage to the braking system. The BT10 is equipped with reverse polarity protection, which prevents damage from incorrect battery connection. A built-in, replaceable 5A fuse provides overcurrent protection for the EPB motor. An LED indicator displays the power status, and the dual control switch allows easy switching between brake and unlock modes.

This tool is developed for situations where direct, manual control over the EPB system is needed, such as during maintenance, malfunctions, or moving a vehicle without power.

- Brake system maintenance: Simplifies replacing brake pads and discs by fully retracting the brake caliper piston, avoiding damage to the EPB motor.
- Dual control mode: The switch offers a 'Braking' mode to activate the parking brake and a 'Release' mode to deactivate it, providing full control over the caliper motor.
- Diagnostic support: Assists in troubleshooting by isolating and directly testing the EPB motor, separate from the vehicle's control unit.
