The Autel MaxiPro MP900-BT is a powerful and versatile wireless car diagnostic solution designed specifically for the professional workshop. As the direct successor to the popular MP808BT Pro series, this model offers significant upgrades in hardware, performance and vehicle coverage. The system combines OE-level diagnostics, bidirectional control, advanced coding functions and an extensive range of maintenance and service procedures in one user-friendly platform.
At the heart of the system is a robust 8-inch Android 11 tablet, powered by a faster processor and equipped with more internal storage. Communication with the vehicle takes place wirelessly via the supplied MaxiVCI V150 Bluetooth interface, which supports modern protocols such as CAN-FD and DoIP – essential for fast and stable communication with the latest vehicles.
One year of free software updates is included as standard with purchase. After this period, the system remains fully functional on the last installed software version; an annual licence is required for access to new updates and cloud-based features.
Diagnostic functions:
The Autel MaxiPro MP900-BT Kit offers advanced OE-level diagnostic capabilities and is suitable for more than 80 vehicle makes worldwide. Thanks to its powerful hardware, wireless VCI and support for modern protocols, the system is ideal for fault analysis, component testing and maintenance.
Complete system diagnostics (OE-level): Provides access to all electronic systems in the vehicle, including engine, transmission, ABS, airbag (SRS), BCM, comfort systems, ADAS, HVAC, instrument cluster and more. Supports reading and clearing fault codes with detailed descriptions.
Active tests (bidirectional control): Sends commands to actuators, pumps, relays and modules to test component operation in real time. Think of activating fuel pumps, air conditioning clutches, door locks, windows and cooling fans, without disassembly.
AutoVIN / ScanVIN: Automatically identifies vehicles via the VIN number or by scanning with the built-in 8 MP camera, for rapid and accurate vehicle identification and selection.
Live data stream: Displays real-time sensor and system data in multiple viewing formats: text, digital graph and analogue gauge. Supports simultaneous display and comparison of multiple data streams for targeted analysis.
Pre- and post-scan reports: Automatically generates reports of vehicle status before and after repair, including fault codes, module information and system status. Ideal for customer communication, workshop filing and warranty handling.
Maintenance and service functions:
The Autel MaxiCom MP900-BT Kit supports more than 40 maintenance and service functions, enabling essential vehicle systems to be reset, calibrated or relearned after maintenance or replacement. These functions are applicable to a wide range of makes and models, and are continuously expanded via software updates.
Oil service reset (Service): Resets the service interval and service lamp after engine oil change.
Electronic parking brake (EPB): Release and initialise the electric handbrake for safe brake maintenance.
Battery management system (BMS): Registers a new battery and restores the charging system.
Steering angle sensor (SAS): Calibrates the steering angle sensor after wheel alignment or replacement of steering components.
Diesel particulate filter (DPF): Initiates forced regeneration and clears fault codes after cleaning the soot filter.
ABS pump bleeding (ABS): Activates the ABS module to remove air from the brake system.
TPMS reset: Recognises new tyre pressure sensors and clears TPMS-related fault codes.
Throttle body learning (ETC): Calibrates throttle valve position after cleaning or replacement.
Injector coding: Programmes the correct codes of new injectors for optimum fuel injection.
Transmission adaptation (CVT): Resets learned values of automatic transmissions for improved shift behaviour.
Crankshaft sensor learning (TEC): Relearns crankshaft position after replacement or engine repair.
AdBlue reset: Clears warnings and level readings of the urea injection system (SCR).
Air suspension calibration: Restores ride height settings on vehicles with adaptive air suspension.
Headlight adjustment (AFS): Calibrates adaptive or cornering headlights for correct alignment.
Start/stop system initialisation: Activates or deactivates the automatic start/stop system as required or after a fault.
Windows and roof initialisation: Restores automatic functions of electric windows and sliding roofs.
Transport mode: Places vehicles into or out of factory or transport mode.
System language adjustment: Changes the language setting of the vehicle display or infotainment system.
Air/fuel ratio reset (A/F): Restores adaptive values for optimum mixture ratio after sensor repair.
Programming and coding functions:
The Autel MaxiPro MP900-BT Kit offers powerful OE-level coding capabilities, allowing vehicle modules to be customised, reconfigured or relearned after replacement. The system supports both online and offline coding, and provides guided procedures for selected makes.
Advanced ECU coding: Makes it possible to recode electronic modules, activate hidden functions (such as disabling the start/stop system or enabling cornering lights), and correctly configure components after replacement. This provides maximum control over vehicle functions.
Online coding: Supports cloud-based coding for makes such as Volkswagen, Audi and BMW, with the most up-to-date configuration files retrieved directly from the OEM server for accurate and error-free execution.
Offline coding: Provides the ability to read coding data from an existing module and transfer it to a new module. This function is particularly valuable for makes such as Ford, Mazda, Hyundai, Kia and other manufacturers that support local coding.
Guided functions (VAG): For vehicles within the Volkswagen group (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda), the system contains step-by-step instructions for complex tasks such as module learning, key coding, basic settings and calibrations. This prevents errors and speeds up the work process.
Cloud and reporting functions:
The Autel MaxiPro MP900-BT Kit is equipped with advanced cloud storage, reporting and remote support features. This functionality helps workshops streamline their documentation and improve technical collaboration.
Autel Cloud Report Management: All pre-scan and post-scan reports are automatically saved to the Autel Cloud, providing secure archiving, easy vehicle history management and centralised access to reports from any device.
Easy sharing and printing: Diagnostic reports can be shared directly from the tablet via QR code, email, SMS or printed wirelessly over Wi-Fi. This enables you to share reports quickly and professionally with customers or colleagues without needing a PC.
Remote Access (TeamViewer): With the built-in TeamViewer functionality, remote technicians or Autel support staff can, with user permission, access the system remotely. Ideal for complex fault diagnosis or remote guidance.
Additional features and special capabilities:
The Autel MaxiPro MP900-BT Kit is equipped with modern features that make the system future-proof and suitable for diagnosing the latest vehicle platforms. The additional capabilities contribute to efficient workflow and improved compatibility.
Support for CAN-FD & DoIP: With support for the latest protocols such as CAN-FD and DoIP, the system is fully compatible with modern vehicles from manufacturers including GM, Ford, BMW, Volvo and Land Rover. This ensures fast and stable diagnostics.
FCA AutoAuth access: Provides direct and authorised access to the Secure Gateway (SGW) of vehicles from Fiat, Chrysler, Alfa Romeo and Jeep. A valid AutoAuth account is required for this. This enables all diagnostic and service functions to be performed without physical bypass.
Wi-Fi print function: Allows you to send diagnostic reports directly from the tablet to a Wi-Fi printer, without needing a PC. This speeds up documentation and reporting within the workshop.
Optional expansions and modules:
The Autel MaxiPro MP900-BT Kit is compatible with various expansions that extend the system's functionality. This makes the device suitable for additional diagnostic and inspection tasks within the workshop.
Battery analysis (MaxiBAS BT506): Supports pairing with the Autel MaxiBAS BT506 battery tester for professional testing of the starter, charging and battery circuit. Measures voltage, internal resistance, starting capacity and charging performance, among other parameters. Results are displayed directly on the MP900-BT screen.
Video scope (MV105 / MV108): Compatible with the Autel MaxiVideo MV105 and MV108 inspection cameras, enabling visual inspection of hard-to-reach locations such as cylinder heads, intake manifolds, turbochargers or behind dashboards. Image display is via the MP900-BT tablet interface.
