The Autel MaxiCOM MK908 Pro II is an advanced, 10.1-inch Android tablet diagnostic platform designed for workshops requiring professional performance, wireless flexibility and comprehensive vehicle coverage. The device is equipped with a fast Qualcomm 660 octa-core processor, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage capacity, running Android 10. Vehicle communication takes place via Bluetooth connected to the supplied MaxiFlash VCI/J2534 Pass-Thru interface, making the tool suitable for both diagnosis and ECU programming.
The MK908 Pro II supports OE-level system diagnosis, including reading and clearing fault codes in all modules, bi-directional (active) tests, live data analysis and adaptations and coding for vehicles (US, Asia, Europe) from 1996 onwards. Thanks to AutoVIN recognition, pre- and post-scan reporting and advanced features such as component matching, power balance tests and online ECU programming, this device is ideal for workshops that demand both speed and depth.
Diagnostic functions:
The Autel MaxiCOM MK908 Pro II provides comprehensive OE-level system diagnosis for over 80 vehicle brands from Europe, Asia and North America. The system reads and analyses fault codes in all electronic modules and is suitable for both standard and advanced diagnostic processes.
- Full system diagnosis: Scans all vehicle modules, including engine, transmission, ABS, airbags (SRS), steering, climate control, comfort systems, ADAS and more.
- Active tests (bi-directional control): Enables the user to control components such as pumps, valves, fans or lighting directly for functional testing.
- Live data stream: Displays real-time data in text, graph and analogue format, with recording and playback capabilities and comparison of multiple data streams.
- AutoVIN & AutoScan: Automatically identifies the vehicle via the chassis number (VIN) and performs a full system scan directly.
- Pre- and post-scan reports: Generates clear reports of the vehicle status before and after servicing, useful for customer communication and documentation.

The Autel MK908 Pro II supports over 36 maintenance and service functions, designed for efficient execution of routine workshop maintenance. The functions are displayed vehicle-specifically and are directly accessible via the service menu.
- Oil reset (Service): Resets the oil change and maintenance interval after periodic servicing.
- Electronic parking brake (EPB): Opens and closes the brake callipers for brake maintenance and performs automatic calibration.
- Battery management system initialisation (BMS): Registers a new battery in the vehicle management system.
- Steering angle sensor initialisation (SAS): Calibrates the steering angle sensor after alignment or replacement.
- Diesel particulate filter initialisation (DPF): Performs forced regeneration and clears stored soot filter data.
