The Topdon TCView TC005 thermal imaging camera is a handheld inspection tool designed for accurate temperature measurements in industrial and automotive environments. The device features a thermal sensor resolution of 256x192 pixels, resulting in detailed thermal images for diagnostics. The camera operates at a frame rate of 20 Hz and uses a lens with a wide field of view of 56°. The measurement range spans from -20°C to +550°C, with a thermal sensitivity (NETD) of 40mK allowing the detection of small temperature differences.
For extensive inspection capabilities, this instrument combines an infrared sensor with a 2-megapixel visual camera, enabling various image modes such as thermal, visible light, and picture-in-picture (PIP). The stored radiometric images can be transferred via USB to a computer for in-depth image analysis and projection using the accompanying software. The system is powered by an integrated battery that offers an operational duration of up to 12 hours and features a robust IP54 housing that withstands a 2-meter drop.
