The OBDSTAR C4-09 Adapter Kit targets one specific chip: the MB91F526. Found in the body control module (BCM) from Magneti Marelli, this kit allows you to read and write FLASH and DFLASH memory and unlock immobiliser data.
The chip is primarily used in Stellantis brands: Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Jeep, as well as Ferrari. The kit also provides FLASH access to the MB91F526 BDMC from Denso in the Mazda 3 — limited to FLASH read and write only, without immobiliser functionality.

Applications and functionality
The C4-09 connects your OBDSTAR device to the MB91F526 controller on the removed module. The device performs the operation; the adapter makes the connection.
What you can do with it
- Read and write FLASH: Read, save and rewrite the main memory of the MB91F526.
- Read and write DFLASH: Access the data memory separately, where vehicle-specific information is stored.
- Decrypt immobiliser data: Extract key data from the module in the Magneti Marelli BCM.
- Access Mazda 3 BDMC: Read and write FLASH memory in the Denso MB91F526 in the Mazda 3.
Compatible vehicles and models
The controller in the module is what matters, not the model alone. OBDSTAR lists the following vehicles for the Magneti Marelli MB91F526 BCM.
- Alfa Romeo: Giulia and Stelvio.
- Ferrari: 488 GTB and Portofino.
- Fiat: Argo, Cronos, Ducato (2023 and newer), Fastback, Pulse, Toro and Rampage.
- Jeep: Renegade (Brazilian versions).
- Mazda: Mazda 3 with Denso MB91F526 BDMC — FLASH read and write only, no immobiliser function.
What else you need
The adapter kit does not work standalone. Below is what you need.
- OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 or DC706: The device that performs the operation. OBDSTAR lists both as host for this adapter.
- OBDSTAR MP001 programmer: Explicitly required according to OBDSTAR; the kit will not operate without the MP001.
- The removed module: This is bench work; the BCM comes out of the vehicle.
- Soldering equipment: The W004 and W006 are soldering cables that connect to the contact points on the chip.
If you do not yet have the MP001 Kit then order it with this: without that programmer, this adapter kit has no function.
