The Can-Bus Emulator Mercedes Euro 6 DTC Eraser is a specialized DTC remover designed for Trucks. This diagnostic tool is developed for mechanics, breakdown services, and drivers to quickly clear stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) via the standard OBD port. The device is specifically tailored to the architecture of heavy commercial vehicles equipped with Euro 6 engines. By cleaning the fault memory, the module offers an immediate solution to remove historical errors and temporarily take the vehicle out of limp mode, allowing a trip to a safe location or workshop to be completed under control without unnecessary power restrictions.
When the module is connected, it immediately initiates communication via the CAN-bus network with the relevant control units, such as engine management, the vehicle ECU (GM), and the AdBlue system. The processor sends an encoded erase function command to clear stored (historical) fault codes from memory, including common NOx sensor messages. It is technically important to emphasize that permanent fault codes are not resolved by this; an active hardware fault in, for example, emission components must be physically repaired. Only after the ECU detects during the next drive cycle that sensor values are back within tolerances will the permanent status be definitively removed from the system.
