The Jaltest JDC661M is an adapter cable specifically developed for performing diagnostic operations on the immobilizer system of Yamaha personal watercraft. This adapter forms the connection between the 2-pin IMMO connector of the vehicle and the Jaltest diagnostic interface. For proper operation, this cable must be used in combination with the JDC601M diagnostic cable.
This adapter is designed to access advanced functions of the Yamaha Customer Outboard Protection (Y-COP) system. It allows specific tasks beyond standard engine diagnostics, such as key management and checking the security status of the immobilizer. The cable is intended exclusively for communication with the immobilizer circuit.
Application and functionality:
The JDC661M adapter provides access to the specific diagnostic functions of the Yamaha Y-COP immobilizer system. The main functionalities are:
- Immobilizer diagnosis: Enables reading, describing, and clearing fault codes from the Y-COP system.
