The Jaltest JDC552A is the diagnostic cable for Linde forklifts; it connects the round 7-pin connector to the 16-pin OBD2 port of your Jaltest diagnostic interface. On the vehicle side, you'll find the manufacturer's proprietary round 7-pin connector, located in the operator's cabin of the forklift; on the interface side sits the 16-pin OBD2 plug of the Jaltest Link.
With this connection, Jaltest equipment reads the complete Linde CAN network: In addition to the engine control unit, the drive control LTC, the hydraulic control LHC, the display LDC and the particulate filter control LPF are connected, and on the electric series the power modules HPM and TPM. For LTC, LHC and LDC, measured values are limited, while the diesel engine controls provide the more comprehensive data set. Internal handling equipment has never been subject to OBD requirements, which is why Linde uses this connector on newer models as well. The cable falls under Jaltest MHE (Material Handling Equipment).

Using this connection, you can access the lift truck's control units with Jaltest software. Which systems are available varies by model and drivetrain.

- LTC (CAN), Transmission: The truck's transmission control.
- LHC (CAN), Hydraulic System: The hydraulic system control for the lifting mechanism.
- LDC (CAN), Instrument cluster: The display, including maintenance data.
- EDC 15 VM, EDC 16 U31, EDC 17 CP20 (CJDA) and EDC 17 CP20 (CPY), Electronic Diesel Control: The successive diesel engine control units.
- GCP, Engine Control Module: The engine control for gas and LPG versions.
- LPF (CAN), Exhaust gas treatment system: The particulate filter control.
- HPM (CAN) and TPM (CAN), Power module: The power modules for electric models.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the control unit's fault memory with detailed descriptions of detected faults.
- View measurement values: The sensor readings per control unit; with LTC, LHC and LDC, this list is limited.
- Access maintenance data: Via the LDC display and diesel engine controls, with the exception of the EDC 15 VM.
