The Jaltest JTP101 is the multipin connection cable for the Jaltest Link V9. On one end is a black housing with a 16-pin OBD2 connector, whilst on the other end are four banana plug-type measurement leads in green, grey, yellow and blue, alongside one separate round connector on its own lead. The cable measures 28 to 30 cm in length.

The cable is part of the Jaltest multipin sets and is also available for separate purchase as a replacement or spare part, for instance when setting up a second set. It is compatible exclusively with the Jaltest Link V9 and does not work with the earlier Jaltest Link V8.1. In addition to this cable, you will require an active Jaltest software licence.

IMPORTANT NOTES

✕This cable works only with the Jaltest Link V9. If you still have the older Jaltest Link V8.1, it is not compatible.
✕This is not an ETM multipin cable: The MDC13 has two measurement pins in green and yellow, and the MDC14 has three in blue, black and red, whereas the JTP101 has four pins plus a round connector.
✕Where the four measurement pins and round connector are connected varies depending on the application; determine this based on the vehicle or equipment you are working on.
✕This is not a diagnostic cable for a specific make or model, and without an active Jaltest software licence you cannot perform diagnostics with it.

Good to know: If your Jaltest equipment arrived as a CV/OHW, MHE, AGV or Marine kit, the multipin set was already included and you already have the JTP101. Order it as a replacement, or when you want to set up a second set. Check first whether you already have this cable before ordering.
