The Jaltest JDC555A is the adapter cable for Still forklifts with the manufacturer's proprietary dual 4+4-pin connector; on the vehicle side you'll find those two connectors, and on the interface side the 16-pin OBD2 port of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On a Still forklift, the engine side and truck side are located on separate connections under the hood; this cable brings them together into a single port.
Once the connection is established, the Jaltest software reaches both sides of the forklift without any switching. On diesel and LPG trucks, you'll access the engine control units EDC 15 VM, EDC 16 U31, EDC 17 CP20 and the newer EMR4 - EDC 17 CV52/CV54, on gas and LPG models the GCP engine control unit, and on the electric RX 60 series the MCU machine computer. From the hydraulic control unit VR Jaltest reads only measured values and ECU data, not fault codes. The cable falls under Jaltest MHE (Material Handling Equipment).

- EMR4 - EDC 17 CV52 and EMR4 - EDC 17 CV54, Electronic Diesel Control, Common Rail: The common-rail engine management systems of the newer RX 70-series, with additional functions.
- EDC 15 VM, EDC 16 U31, EDC 17 CP20 (CJDA) and EDC 17 CP20 (CPY), Electronic Diesel Control: The diesel control systems for the R 70 series.
- GCP, Engine Control Module: The engine management system for gas and LPG variants.
- MCU, Body Computer: The central machine computer for the electric RX 60 series.
- VR, Hydraulic System: The hydraulic control system; Jaltest reads measurement values and ECU data from this.
What You Can Do
- Read and Clear Fault Codes: Access the fault memory of the control unit with detailed descriptions of detected faults.
- View Live Data: Monitor real-time sensor values connected to the control unit, displayed as numbers and graphs.
- Access Service Information: Available for engine control units and the MCU machine computer, with the exception of the EDC 15 VM.
- Perform Additional Functions: Available on EMR4 engine control units.
Compatible Vehicles and Applications
The connector type determines compatibility, not the model. This cable works with any Still forklift equipped with the dual 4+4-pin diagnostic connector. Jaltest MHE covers the series listed below; check under your forklift's hood to confirm which connector you have.
