The Jaltest JDC308A is the diagnostic cable for the proprietary mini-USB connector on the ZF EcoLife automatic transmission; the cable connects that port to the 16-pin OBD2 inlet of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. The mini-USB connector on ZF transmissions doesn't fit standard diagnostic cables; this adapter, measuring 28-30 cm, bridges that gap at the transmission itself and is compatible with Link V8.1 and V9. Since the connector belongs to the transmission rather than a bus manufacturer, the cable works on any vehicle equipped with this automatic transmission.
With this connection, Jaltest diagnostic equipment reads the control unit of the EcoLife transmission: fault codes, live data, component control, and the parameters, calibrations, and service resets that Jaltest offers for this system. Which functions you can access depends on your vehicle and the modules in your license. This cable falls under Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).
