The Jaltest JDC305A is the adapter cable connecting the 18+18-pin diagnostic connector of the Knorr-Bremse ABS control unit to the 16-pin OBD2 port of your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On the system side, the cable connects directly to the control unit's connector, which is independent of the vehicle's standard OBD port. This means the Knorr-Bremse unit on the vehicle determines compatibility, not the chassis manufacturer, allowing the same cable to work across commercial vehicles from different brands.
This cable routes the brake control communication lines to the Jaltest Link, establishing direct communication with the Knorr-Bremse control unit. This gives your diagnostic equipment access to ABS 6 in the versions K&L, KWPDC and SAE as well as the older ABS24/EU12. Each version offers different functionality: ABS 6 (K&L) includes calibration procedures, while KWPDC and SAE do not. Some functions on these systems require the separate Knorr-Bremse Diagnostics module (ref. 71502007). The cable is part of Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).

- ABS 6 (KWPDC), Antilock braking system: The KWP variant of the same ABS generation.
- ABS 6 (SAE), Antilock braking system: The SAE variant, with live data monitoring included.
- ABS24/EU12: Cojali also lists this cable for this older Knorr-Bremse ABS variant.

- View live data: Monitor current sensor readings, including wheel speed sensors.

Compatible vehicles and applications
The control unit determines compatibility, not the vehicle manufacturer. This cable is designed for Knorr-Bremse ABS6 and ABS24/EU12 brake control units; the chassis builder is irrelevant for the connection.

- Vehicle brand doesn't matter: The cable follows the Knorr-Bremse unit, regardless of who built the chassis
