The Jaltest JDC304A connects the two 4-pin diagnostic connectors from Wabco bus electronics to the 16-pin OBD2 socket where your Jaltest Link diagnostic cable plugs in. Behind that socket, the cable splits into two branches, each with a black 4-pin connector featuring a locking clip and two rows of two positions. One branch carries yellow, white and blue wires, the other red, black and green. The cable measures 28 to 30 cm in length.
With both branches connected, the Jaltest software reaches two control units that have their own electronics alongside the drivetrain. These are the ATC and the ATC Coach, the bus's automatic climate control, and the MTS, the modular door control that operates the doors. This allows door faults and climate complaints to be assessed using fault codes and measured values rather than with a multimeter alone; for these two systems, coverage remains limited to reading data. The cable works with Jaltest Link V8.1 and V9 and falls under the Jaltest CV module.

Applications and functionality
Via this dual connection you access the comfort and body electronics of the bus using Jaltest software. These are systems that operate independently of the powertrain and have their own control unit. The units listed below are covered by Jaltest's Wabco coverage.
Control units you can access
- ATC and ATC Coach, automatic climate control: The bus climate control system, covered in Jaltest under climate management.
- MTS, modular door control: The system that operates the bus doors, covered under electronic modules.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory of the climate or door control unit and clear it after repair.
- View measured values: The current sensor readings on the control unit, such as temperature sensors and door positions.
- View system diagnostic messages: Jaltest displays the diagnostic message that the MTS control unit generates itself.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The system is what matters, not the bus brand. This cable is designed for the Wabco ATC climate control and the Wabco MTS door control with the 4+4-pin connector. Jaltest covers these units in the range of Solaris and Solbus. It is not the bus manufacturer that determines whether the cable fits, but the connector on the control unit.
