The Jaltest JDC217.9 is the adapter cable for machines with the standardized 9-pin Deutsch diagnostic connector type 2 (green): the connector is located on the vehicle side, while the interface side features the 26-pin DB26 (SubD-26) port of the Jaltest Link V9. Because the cable terminates in DB26, you connect directly to the Link without an OBD2 adapter cable. The cable measures 147.5–152.5 cm in length; the green type-2 connector is the newer version of the 9-pin J1939 diagnostic connector, while the black type-1 version comes with its own separate cable.
Through this connection, your diagnostic equipment accesses the machine's data network and the control units connected to it. Which units are available varies by manufacturer and model and depends on the modules in your license. Because the connection is standardized and not brand-specific, the same cable works on machines across different segments. The cable is compatible with Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles), Jaltest OHW (Off-Highway machines), Jaltest MHE (Material Handling Equipment), Jaltest Marine, and Jaltest Multi-Purpose Vehicle.
