The Jaltest JDC113.9 is the adapter cable that converts the proprietary 5-pin diagnostic connector from refrigeration units by Thermo King and Carrier to the 26-pin DB26 connection on the Jaltest Link. The connector is located directly on the refrigeration unit at the control module; since the cable connects straight to the Link's DB26 port, you won't need any additional adapter cables.
Once connected, Jaltest diagnostic software can access transport refrigeration systems from both manufacturers: Thermo King's Smart Reefer 2 and Smart Reefer 3 and Thermoguard TG-VI, plus Carrier units MAXIMA/ULTRA, VECTOR and VECTOR 1350. The equipment reads fault codes, live data and ECU information from these control systems; for the Carrier VECTOR 1350, maintenance data is also included. Since refrigeration units have never had a standardized diagnostic connector, both manufacturers use their own connector design for each unit generation. This cable falls under Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).

- Thermo King Thermoguard TG-VI: Including fault codes, measurement values, and ECU data.
- Carrier MAXIMA/ULTRA, VECTOR and VECTOR 1350: The Carrier refrigeration units that Jaltest reads.
What you can do
- Read fault codes: Request the fault memory of the refrigeration unit controller.
- View measurement values: Real-time sensor readings from the refrigeration unit, with an alert when a value goes out of range.
- Maintenance Data: View maintenance intervals on Carrier VECTOR 1350 and generate a service report.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector type is what matters, not the model. This cable fits any refrigerated trailer or reefer semi-trailer equipped with a Thermo King or Carrier cooling unit featuring a 5-pin diagnostic connector; check which connector is installed on your unit on-site.

- Refrigerated trailers and reefer semi-trailers with a Thermo King or Carrier cooling unit with 5-pin diagnostic connector
- Chassis brand is not a factor: The cable follows the cooling unit, not the trailer manufacturer
- Year of manufacture is not a factor: Cooling units have no mandatory diagnostic connector requirement
