The Jaltest JDC221A is the diagnostic cable for Iveco trucks equipped with a Secure Gateway (SGW); it connects the ST14D connector of that module to the 16-pin OBD2 port on your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On newer Iveco trucks, a security module sits between the OBD2 connector and the vehicle network, with its own ST14D connector located in the cab near the OBD2 port.
Once the connection is established, the Jaltest software reaches the vehicle network behind the gateway, where a standard OBD2 connection alone isn't sufficient. Which control units you'll find there and what functions are available depends on the vehicle and the modules in your license, not on the cable. The cable falls under Jaltest CV (commercial vehicles).
