The Jaltest JDC515A is the cable that converts the manufacturer-specific 3+9-pin diagnostic connector of Carraro tractors to the standard 16-pin OBD2-connection. The 3+9-pin connector consists of two separate plugs that come together on this single cable; they're located in the cab. This means you won't need to switch connectors during operation.
Once the connection is established, the Jaltest software accesses four tractor systems: The engine control unit EDC 17 C49, the transmission controls TRAX and TRAX (CAN) and EHM 24, and the lift mechanism M 60. The engine control unit offers the most comprehensive coverage, including fault codes as well as maintenance and additional actions, while the transmission and lift mechanism are limited to reading data. The cable falls under Jaltest AGV (agricultural vehicles).

Using this connection, you can access the control units of your Carraro tractor with Jaltest software.
Control units you can access
- EDC 17 C49, Electronic Diesel Control, Common Rail: The engine control unit. The most comprehensively supported system on the tractor.
- TRAX and TRAX (CAN), Transmission: The transmission control unit, available in both legacy and CAN versions.
- EHM 24, Transmission: The secondary transmission control unit in Carraro coverage.
- M 60, Hydraulic lift: The electronic control unit for the hydraulic lift system.
What you can do
- Read and clear fault codes: Access the fault memory of the control unit with detailed fault descriptions, and clear it after repairs are completed.
- View live data: Monitor real-time sensor values from the control unit, with the ability to set alarm thresholds for out-of-range readings.
- Maintenance: Check engine maintenance intervals and document completed service work in a report. For Carraro, this is only available on the engine control unit EDC 17 C49.
- Additional functions: The extra procedures that Jaltest offers for each control unit, such as reset and calibration functions. These are also only available for the engine control unit in the coverage.
Compatible vehicles and applications
The connector type determines compatibility, not the model. This cable works with any Carraro tractor equipped with the 3+9-pin diagnostic connector. Jaltest AGV covers the series listed below; which systems you'll find depends on your tractor's configuration.
