The Jaltest 70002026 is the complete adapter cable set for off-highway equipment: nine cables that connect the manufacturer-specific diagnostic connector of heavy earthmoving machinery to your Jaltest diagnostic cable. On the engine side are cables for Deutz, Caterpillar and Perkins and Mercedes-Benz and MTU; on the machine side those for Volvo Construction Equipment, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr. The set also includes the cable for the ZF Ergopower-transmission and that for the green 9-pin Deutsch connector to J1939 standard.
Machinery typically has two diagnostic connectors: one at the engine control and one at the machine controls around it, and this set covers both sides. Compared to the base set 70002030, it includes five additional cables for Mercedes-Benz and MTU, ZF Ergopower, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr; this gives you access to heavy excavation and lifting equipment and the powershift transmission. Conversely, it lacks cables for Kubota, Yanmar and the 14-pin Caterpillar connector, which are only in the base set. The cables fall under Jaltest OHW (Off-Highway equipment).

Applications and functionality
Each cable in this set converts a manufacturer-specific diagnostic connector to the standard connector of the Jaltest Link. What you can do afterwards is determined by the Jaltest software and the coverage table for your machine, not by the cable. The set combines engine connectors and machine connectors, so you don't need to choose between the two on a single machine.

- JDC203A, Mercedes-Benz and MTU: The round 14-pin connector from Mercedes-Benz and MTU engines, to 16-pin OBD2.
- JDC217.9, Deutsch 9-pin green: The standardised J1939 connector, to the 26-pin DB26 of the Jaltest Link V9.
- JDC504A, Deutz engines: The round 12-pin Amphenol connector from Deutz engines, to 16-pin OBD2.
- JDC505A, Caterpillar and Perkins engines: The 9-pin connector with reddish-brown interior, to 16-pin OBD2.
- JDC509A, Volvo Construction Equipment: The round connector with locking ring in the cab, to 16-pin OBD2.
- JDC535.9, Hitachi: The manufacturer-specific diagnostic connector from Hitachi earthmoving equipment.
- JDC536A, Komatsu: The rectangular 12-pin connector with orange sealing, to 16-pin OBD2.
- JDC542.9, Liebherr: The manufacturer-specific diagnostic connector from Liebherr equipment.
- JDC546A, ZF Ergopower: The 6-pin connector from the powershift gearbox, to 16-pin OBD2.
What you can do with it
- Read and clear fault codes: Read the fault memory of the control unit with fault descriptions, and clear it after repair.
- View measurement values:The current sensor values on the control unit, monitored live in figures and graph.
- Control components: Operate individual components to assess their function. With ZF Ergopower this is covered, but not with Deutz and Caterpillar engine control systems.
- Consult maintenance intervals:Among others for Volvo CE, Komatsu and newer Deutz systems; Caterpillar engines are not covered.
- Perform calibration:At the ZF Ergopower transmission, Jaltest provides a calibration procedure.
Compatible vehicles and applications
Compatibility is determined by the connector type, not the machine model. Engines for Deutz, Caterpillar and Perkins can be installed as a standalone drive unit, so the same connection is found in machines from various manufacturers. For construction equipmentis a standardisedOBD2 connector never became mandatory, so the brand-specific connectors also fit on recent equipment return.\n

- German 9-pin green:The standardised J1939 connection, which is found on newer equipment regardless of manufacturer
- Deutz engines:Deutz engines used by dozens of equipment manufacturers; this cable also falls under Jaltest AGV and Jaltest MHE
- Caterpillar and Perkins engines:The engine side of Caterpillar and Perkins, even when the machine is from another manufacturer
- Volvo Construction Equipment:Excavators, wheel loaders, dumpers, graders and rollers from Volvo CE

- Liebherr: Liebherr earthmoving equipment and cranes; with a Jaltest Link V9 you will need the JDC100 for this
