The Topdon UltraDiag Update License is a digital software license that updates the diagnostic scanner Topdon UltraDiag to the latest version. The license is valid for 1 year and provides access to software updates, new vehicle coverage, and improvements released by the manufacturer throughout this period. This ensures your scanner stays compatible with the most current vehicle systems and diagnostic protocols released during the license term.
Activation is completed using an update card with activation code containing 12 characters. Simply log into the Topdon software or app on your scanner and manually enter the code through the update or license menu. Once entered, updates become available on your device. When the 1-year license period expires, access to new updates and additional vehicle coverage stops. Your already installed software continues to work on the scanner, but renewal is necessary to receive further updates.

Serial Number Information
To link and register your license, you may need the serial number of your Topdon UltraDiag. This serial number can be found in several locations on the device.
- Back of the Device: The serial number is typically found on a sticker on the back of the UltraDiag.
- System Information Menu: You can locate the serial number in the device software under the system or device information menu.
- App About Screen: Within the Topdon software, the serial number is usually displayed under the app's "About" or "Info" screen.
