The Topdon UltraDiag Moto update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the UltraDiag Moto with one year. This is the only motorcycle diagnostic device in the range with topology map of the vehicle network, and it performs active tests, CO adjustment and idle speed calibration. The UltraDiag Moto is an eight-inch tablet with wireless interface, built for motorcycle diagnostics across more than eighty manufacturers, and in that line of work what matters most is whether the device recognises today's vehicles. An active licence is what makes that difference.
A licence renewal keeps the manufacturer coverage, the adjustment procedures and the module schematics behind the topology; for two-wheelers that manufacturer list grows rapidly. To keep that current we need the serial number of your UltraDiag Moto; this is mandatory at purchase. You then receive the renewal code by email and enter the code in the update menu When the term expires, nothing changes on what is already stored on the device.

What a renewal provides
- New vehicle coverage: Brands, models and model years added after your last update become available within existing diagnostic functions.
- Expanded service functions: Procedures such as service interval reset, air-fuel ratio reset, CO adjustment, clutch adjustment and ABS bleeding remain compatible with newer vehicles as manufacturers modify their systems.
- Module schemas: The topology display gains the schematics of newer vehicle architectures.
What happens without renewal
- No further updates: The update menu remains empty, even when the manufacturer releases new versions.
- Cloud services: Reporting and support running through the manufacturer's servers may cease.
- Unchanged: Diagnosis on vehicles the device already recognises remains unaffected by licence expiry.

How does it work in practice?
Below four steps describe the complete process. Ensure the UltraDiag Moto remains connected to power during download. charger hangs.
- Device details: Provide the serial number of your UltraDiag Moto at purchase.
- Code sent: You receive the card with the code by email, usually within one working day.
- Activate on the device: Enter the code in the update menu of the UltraDiag Moto; a PC is not required.
- Completion: Start the download over wifi and leave the UltraDiag Moto on the charger until installation is complete.
