The license is exclusively tied to the Topdon Phoenix XLink and is not compatible with other Topdon models.
The license is delivered as an update card with a 12-character activation code. Simply log into your diagnostic device's software and enter the code manually through the update or license menu. Once successfully activated, updates become available and your device can download the latest software versions through the standard update function. After the new updates are blocked once the 1-year license period expires. Your already-installed software continues to work on the device, but you'll need to renew your license to access newer vehicle coverage and additional features.
