The Topdon Phoenix Nano update license is a digital software license that gives the corresponding Topdon Phoenix Nano access to the latest software updates and manufacturer enhancements for 1 year. The license is designed for mechanics and diagnostic technicians who want to keep their diagnostic scanner current with the most recent diagnostic data, vehicle coverage and functional improvements. During this period, all updates released by the manufacturer can be installed, allowing the device to evolve with new vehicle models and systems.
Activation is done via an update card with a 12-digit activation code. After receipt, the user logs into the corresponding Topdon software or app and enters the code manually via the update or license menu. Once the code is confirmed, updates become available on the device through the standard update function. When the license period expires, the already installed software continues to work on the device, but new updates and additional vehicle coverage are no longer released until the license is renewed.
