Topdon BT100W | Battery Tester

The Topdon BT100W is a wireless Battery Tester that connects via Bluetooth 5.0 to a smartphone or tablet. This device is designed for performing analyses on 12V lead-acid batteries. It performs various measurements, including a battery test, starting test, and charging test, to assess the overall condition of the battery and the associated vehicle systems.

All test results are displayed directly in the associated mobile application, available for Android and iOS. The app allows generating, saving, and sharing detailed test reports. The BT100W features a compact design and is equipped with reverse polarity protection, ensuring a safe connection to the battery terminals. The device requires no internal battery and is powered by the vehicle's battery once connected.

Application and functionality:

This battery tester is developed for analyzing the status of 12V vehicle batteries and the performance of the starting and charging system. Operation is fully via the smartphone app.

• Battery test: Analyzes the state of health (SOH), state of charge (SOC), internal resistance, battery voltage, and the measured CCA value to determine the overall condition of the battery.
• Starting test: Measures the starting voltage and start time during engine start to check the operation of the starting system.
• Charging test: Evaluates the performance of the charging system (alternator) by measuring voltage without load, with load, and analyzing voltage ripple.
• Wireless control: Uses a stable Bluetooth 5.0 connection to send test data in real-time to the app, allowing the user to operate remotely.
• Reporting: Automatically generates detailed test reports that can be saved, printed, or directly shared via the app.
