The Topdon ArtiDiag Moto update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the ArtiDiag Moto with one year. The device performs active tests on the brake and throttle controls, displays on screen where the diagnostic connector is located and records the chassis number and mileage. The ArtiDiag Moto is a five-inch diagnostic device for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs and side-by-sides, and all these functions draw from the same software file that is expanded with every update.
We will send you following your order a renewal card by email, typically within one business day. You enter the code from it into the update menu of the ArtiDiag Moto, after which the new period begins. Please provide the serial number of the device with your order, as this is mandatory. A renewal keeps the vehicle coverage current, and particularly with two-wheelers this list changes rapidly, plus the calibration procedures such as CO adjustment and idle speed.

The ArtiDiag Moto software comprises far more than just a vehicle list. Alongside the vehicle coverage the procedure files and the online services that the manufacturer assigns to it. Below is what renewal means for each component.
What a renewal provides
- New vehicle coverage: Brands, models and model years added after your last update become available within existing diagnostic functions.
- Expanded service functions: Procedures such as oil service, idle speed adjustment, CO regulation, clutch learning and cruise control calibration continue to support newer vehicles as manufacturers modify their systems.
- Corrections and improvements: Bug fixes, faster routines and corrected procedures in the software itself arrive through the same updates.
What happens without renewal
- No further updates: The update menu remains empty, even when the manufacturer releases new versions.
- Cloud services: Reporting and support running through the manufacturer's servers may cease.
- Daily operations: Reading and clearing codes, live data and active tests on known vehicles continue unchanged.

How does it work in practice?
Renewal requires minimal effort from you. Find the serial number enter it and then follow these four steps.
- Providing the number: Read the serial number from the ArtiDiag Moto and provide it with your order.
- Processing: The renewal card arrives by email, typically within one working day of your order.
- Entering the code: Switch on the ArtiDiag Moto, go to the update menu and enter the code from the renewal card.
- Installation: With the renewal active, new versions are ready; download them over wifi and install them.
