The Topdon ArtiDiag 600 Elite update licence extends your entitlement to software updates for the ArtiDiag 600 Elite with one year. The ArtiDiag 600 Elite is a wired five-inch tablet supporting over seventy vehicle manufacturers, with a compact housing designed for workshop use. The device displays up to four data streams simultaneously on a single screen and supports CAN FD, which the manufacturer states is required for General Motors and Chrysler models from 2020 onwards. Throughout the licence period, every new software version via the update menu on the device itself.
When placing your order, provide the serial number of your ArtiDiag 600 Elite; this is mandatory. You will then receive the renewal card by email, typically within one working day, and enter the code into the update menu of the device. A licence renewal keeps the vehicle manufacturer coverage and the service procedures current, and with it, access to the secure gateways of FCA and Renault. When the licence expires, the ArtiDiag 600 Elite continues to operate on the most recently installed version, but you cannot install new versions.

What a renewal provides
- New vehicle coverage: Brands, models and model years added after your last update become available within existing diagnostic functions.
- Expanded service functions: Procedures such as oil service, idle air control valve adjustment, diesel particulate filter regeneration, injector coding and AdBlue reset remain compatible with newer vehicles as manufacturers update their systems.
- Corrections and improvements: Bug fixes, faster routines and corrected procedures in the software itself arrive through the same updates.
What happens without renewal
- No updates: New coverage and new procedures no longer reach the device.
- Online functions: Anything the software does not have built-in may stop working afterwards.
- Existing diagnostics: Reading, clearing, live data and active tests on already supported vehicles continue to work normally.
