Autool SDT205S | Smoke Tester
The Autool SDT205S is a smoke tester for detecting leaks in various vehicle systems. The device operates on a 12V DC power supply and features an integrated air pump and smoke generator. The maximum output pressure is less than 1.03 Bar and the smoke output is up to 6 L/min.
The smoke tester has two independent modes: an air mode for pressure testing and a smoke mode for visual leak detection. A built-in manometer and flow meter allow monitoring of pressure and smoke flow. The device comes with a comprehensive set of adapters, including an EVAP connector and a universal airbag adapter, for application on intake, exhaust, crankcase, and fuel systems among others.
Application and functionality:
The SDT205S is designed for detecting leaks in a wide range of closed systems in vehicles by means of smoke generation.
- Integrated air pump: The device operates independently of an external compressed air supply.
- Dual operating mode: Switchable between an air mode to pressurize systems and a smoke mode for visual inspection of leaks.
- Pressure and flow measurement: A manometer displays the system pressure, while a flow meter indicates the size of any leak.
