Autool SDT203 | Smoke Tester
The Autool SDT203 is a smoke tester for detecting leaks in various vehicle systems. The device operates on a 12 V vehicle battery and is equipped with a built-in air pump, so no external compressed air source is needed. The smoke tester generates a maximum output pressure of less than 1.03 Bar (< 15 psi) with a smoke flow of up to 6 L/min.
This model features an adjustable smoke flow that can be controlled and read via a flowmeter. A built-in manometer allows monitoring the pressure in the tested system. For safety, the SDT203 is equipped with an overheating protection that shuts off the device at temperatures above 75 °C. The housing has a hook to easily hang the smoke tester.
Application and functionality:
The Autool SDT203 is used to detect leaks by introducing smoke into a closed system. The location of the leak becomes visible by the escaping smoke. This model is suitable for various systems in vehicles.
- Leak detection: Locates leaks in, among others, the intake system, exhaust system, crankcase, fuel tank, cooling system, and various pipes.
- Built-in air pump: Makes the device independent of an external compressed air supply for immediate usability.
- Adjustable smoke flow: The amount of smoke can be adjusted with a rotary knob and read on the integrated flow meter.
- Pressure monitoring: A pressure gauge on the front panel shows the current pressure in the system during the test.
