Autool SDT202 | Smoke Tester
The Autool SDT202 is a smoke tester designed for detecting leaks in various vehicle systems. This model operates on a DC 12V power supply from a vehicle battery and is equipped with a built-in air pump, eliminating the need for an external compressed air source. The tester generates smoke with an output pressure of less than 0.83 Bar and a flow rate of less than 5 L/min.
The device features a built-in Pressure Gauge for direct pressure reading and an overheating protection that cuts off power at temperatures above 75°C. The smoke tester comes with a comprehensive set of accessories, including various adapters, plugs, and a smoke hose, to detect leaks in systems such as the intake system, exhaust system, and the EVAP system.
Application and functionality:
The SDT202 generates smoke by burning test oil in an oxygen-poor environment. This smoke is introduced into a closed system to visually identify leaks.
- Built-in air pump: Operates autonomously without an external compressed air connection.
- Pressure Gauge: Allows direct reading of the pressure in the tested system.
- Overheating protection: The system automatically shuts off when the temperature of the core components exceeds 75°C.
- Wide applicability: Suitable for testing leaks in the intake system, exhaust system, EVAP system, crankcase, cooling system, and other closed pipes.
