The Benelli 6-pin OBD – 16-pin OBD2 Adapter Cable is specifically designed to connect the vehicle-specific diagnostic port of various Benelli Motorcycles to standard diagnostic equipment. The cable features a model-specific 6-pin connector (often red or black/red) on one end and a standardized OBD2 connector (J1962 female) on the other. This physical interface allows universal diagnostic tools to connect to the motorcycle's electronic control unit (ECU).

This adapter provides a direct pin-to-pin signal transfer of the communication lines between the Motorcycle and the diagnostic device. The internal wiring is configured to correctly forward protocols such as CAN-bus or K-Line, depending on the type of ECU installed in the Benelli (mostly Delphi systems). This allows the diagnostic technician or mechanic to access the engine management system without needing expensive, brand-specific OEM equipment, provided the scanner supports the protocol used.
