The OTOFIX D1 ProS is a powerful and advanced wireless car Diagnostic Tool at OE level, developed by OTOFIX – the sister brand of Autel. This system is designed for professional workshops that require in-depth vehicle diagnostics, bidirectional test functionality, and extensive service and coding capabilities. The device is built around a fast 10.4-inch touchscreen tablet, equipped with the modern Android 11 operating system and a powerful processor. The D1 ProS thus delivers exceptional performance, even with complex diagnostics, combining ease of use with professional functionality.

Wireless communication takes place via the compact and efficient OTOFIX V1 Bluetooth VCI, which supports the latest vehicle protocols such as CAN-FD and DoIP. This guarantees compatibility with modern vehicle platforms from BMW, GM, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo, among others. The system comes standard with two years of free software updates, giving you access to current vehicle coverage, new features, and performance improvements for more than 80 car brands worldwide. After the update period ends, the device continues to function fully on the last installed software version, with an optional annual license renewal.

Diagnostic functions:

The OTOFIX D1 ProS offers extensive diagnostic capabilities at OE level and is suitable for fault analysis, live data display, and component control on modern vehicles from more than 80 brands.

• Complete system diagnosis (OE-Level): Provides deep access to all electronic control units of the vehicle, such as engine, transmission, ABS, airbag (SRS), body control module (BCM), air conditioning, steering and more. Supports reading and clearing fault codes with technical descriptions.
• Active tests (bidirectional control): Sends commands to actuators and components to test their operation without disassembly, for example controlling the fuel pump, testing the air conditioning clutch or operating the windshield wipers.
• AutoVIN technology: Automatically recognizes the vehicle via the chassis number (VIN) and selects the correct make, model, and year for a quick and error-free start of the diagnosis.
• Live datastream: Displays real-time data from sensors and modules in text, graph form or as analog gauges. Enables monitoring multiple data streams simultaneously for detailed analysis of system behavior.

Maintenance and service functions:

The OTOFIX D1 ProS supports more than 40 maintenance and reset functions essential for initializing, adjusting, or resetting vehicle systems after maintenance or component replacement. This makes the system suitable for both universal and brand-specific workshops.

• Oil service reset (Service): Resets the maintenance interval and turns off the service light after an oil change.
• Electronic parking brake (EPB): Releases, applies, and initializes the electronic handbrake during brake maintenance.
• Battery management system (BMS): Registers a new Battery in the vehicle for correct charging control.
• Steering angle sensor (SAS): Calibrates the steering angle sensor after steering repair or alignment.
• Diesel particulate filter (DPF): Performs forced regeneration and clears fault codes from the soot filter.
• ABS pump bleeding (ABS): Activates the ABS module to remove air from the brake system.
• Tire pressure monitoring system reset (TPMS): Learns new sensors and resets the TPMS system.
• Throttle body initialization (ETC): Calibrates the electronic throttle after cleaning or replacement.

• Advanced ECU coding: Enables reconfiguration of control units, correct learning of new components, and activation of hidden functions, such as disabling start/stop or adjusting coming-home lighting.
• Online coding: Supports server-based coding for among others Volkswagen, Audi, and BMW, where the original coding data is retrieved directly from the factory server for maximum accuracy.
• Guided functions (VAG): For vehicles within the Volkswagen Group (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda), the device provides step-by-step instructions for complex procedures such as key coding, component learning, and basic settings, with minimal error risk.

Cloud and reporting features:

The OTOFIX D1 ProS offers smart cloud and support features that ensure efficient documentation, collaboration, and troubleshooting inside and outside the workshop.

• OTOFIX Cloud Report Management: Automatically saves pre-scan and post-scan reports in the OTOFIX Cloud, allowing users to easily archive, manage, and access reports from any device with internet connection.
• Easily share and print: Reports can be shared directly from the tablet via e-mail or wirelessly printed via Wi-Fi, without extra software or connection to a computer.

• Includes 2 years of updates: A 24-month update license is included with purchase.

After the first year, the license can be renewed for an annual fee. The device remains fully functional for already supported models, even without license renewal. However, new software updates can no longer be installed, and some online features may be limited or no longer supported.
