The OTOFIX D1 Max is the most advanced and powerful car Diagnostic Tool within the D1 series from OTOFIX. This professional diagnostic platform is specially designed for modern, demanding workshops that need an all-in-one solution for comprehensive vehicle diagnosis, service, and coding. The system combines OE-level diagnosis, bidirectional control, and a wide range of service and coding functions in one robust and user-friendly interface.

The core of the system is a powerful 10.4-inch Full HD touchscreen tablet, running on the stable and modern Android 11 operating system, powered by a fast Qualcomm octa-core processor. Communication with vehicles is wireless via the included OTOFIX V1 Bluetooth VCI, which supports modern protocols such as CAN-FD and DoIP. This enables fast, stable, and future-proof diagnostics on vehicles from more than 80 brands worldwide. The OTOFIX D1 Max comes standard with two years of free software updates. After this period, the device remains fully functional with the last installed software; an annual license is required for access to new updates.

The OTOFIX D1 Max offers extensive OE-level diagnostic capabilities and is suitable for fault analysis, real-time monitoring, and active system tests on vehicles from more than 80 brands. Thanks to the fast hardware and support for modern protocols, the device is highly suitable for both classic and modern vehicle platforms.

• Complete system diagnosis (OE-level): Provides in-depth access to all electronic control units, including engine, transmission, ABS, airbag (SRS), body control module (BCM), steering, air conditioning, dashboard, safety systems, light modules, and more. Supports reading and clearing fault codes with detailed descriptions.
• Active tests (bidirectional control): Allows you to directly control actuators, relays, and components to test their operation. Examples include activating the fuel pump, testing the air conditioning clutch, or operating windows and windshield wipers – without the need for physical disassembly.
• AutoVIN technology: Automatically recognizes the vehicle based on the chassis number (VIN) and selects make, model, and year. This speeds up the diagnostic process and prevents input errors.
• Live datastream: Displays real-time sensor data from various systems. The data can be shown in text format, graphs, or as analog meters. Supports synchronized display of multiple data streams for detailed comparison and fault analysis.

Maintenance and service functions:

The OTOFIX D1 Max supports more than 40 maintenance and reset functions, allowing essential vehicle systems to be calibrated, adjusted, or reset after maintenance or replacement. These functions are suitable for both passenger cars and electric vehicles, and are continuously expanded via software updates.

• Oil service reset (Service): Resets the maintenance interval and service light after oil change.
• Electronic parking brake (EPB): Activates and deactivates the electronic handbrake to safely replace brake pads.
• Battery management system (BMS): Registers a new Battery in the vehicle and optimizes the charging strategy.
• Steering angle sensor (SAS): Calibrates the steering angle sensor after alignment or replacement of steering components.
• Diesel particulate filter regeneration (DPF): Starts forced regeneration of the soot filter and clears fault codes after cleaning.
• ABS pump bleeding (ABS): Activates the ABS system to remove air from the brake circuits.
• TPMS reset: Detects and learns new tire pressure sensors, including fault code clearing.
• Throttle body learning (ETC): Recalibrates the throttle actuator for correct air intake control.

• Online coding: Supports direct communication with the factory servers of brands such as Volkswagen, Audi and BMW, enabling coding based on original vehicle specifications. This guarantees maximum accuracy and compatibility.
• Offline coding: Offers the possibility to read coding data from an existing module and transfer it to a replacement part. This feature is especially useful for brands like Ford, Mazda, Jaguar and Land Rover.

• OTOFIX Cloud Report Management: All pre-scan and post-scan reports are automatically saved in the OTOFIX Cloud. This enables easy archiving, retrieval and access from any device – ideal for workshops working with multiple users or devices.
• Easy sharing and printing: Diagnostic reports can be shared directly from the tablet via QR code, email, SMS or wirelessly printed via Wi-Fi. This speeds up communication with customers and makes it easy to forward or print results directly without extra software.

After the first year, the license can be renewed for an annual fee. The device remains fully functional for already supported models, even without license renewal. However, new software updates can no longer be installed, and some online features may be limited or no longer supported.
