The OTOFIX D1 Lite is a powerful and user-friendly Diagnostic Tool, developed by OTOFIX – the sister brand of Autel. Thanks to the combination of Autel software and modern hardware, the device offers a professional experience in a compact and affordable format.

The system is built around a 7-inch Android 9.0 tablet, with an intuitive touchscreen interface and a stable operating system. Communication with the vehicle is wireless via the supplied OTOFIX V1 Bluetooth VCI, which supports modern protocols such as CAN-FD and DoIP. This guarantees a fast and stable diagnosis of even the newest vehicle models. The OTOFIX D1 Lite comes standard with two years of free software updates for more than 80 vehicle brands. After this period, the device remains fully usable with the last installed software, without mandatory renewal.

Diagnostic functions:

The OTOFIX D1 Lite offers extensive diagnostic capabilities at OE level, allowing all electronic systems of the vehicle to be read, analyzed, and tested. Thanks to the fast hardware and wireless VCI, the diagnosis is quick, stable, and suitable for vehicles from more than 80 brands worldwide.

• Complete system diagnosis (OE-level): Access to all control units present in the vehicle, including engine, transmission, ABS, airbag (SRS), body control module (BCM), steering, climate control, dashboard, lighting and more. Reads and clears fault codes with full description.
• Live datastream: Displays real-time sensor data in various display formats, such as text, graphs and analog format. Ideal for monitoring parameters during tests or comparing data between systems.
• AutoVIN technology: Automatically recognizes the vehicle based on the chassis number (VIN) and automatically selects make, model, and year. This speeds up the diagnostic process and prevents input errors.
• Active tests (bidirectional control): Sends commands to components such as cooling fans, pumps, locking motors or EGR valves to check their operation. This function is essential for verifying system functionality without physical disassembly.

Maintenance and service functions:

The OTOFIX D1 Lite supports more than 30 maintenance and service functions, allowing important vehicle systems to be reset, calibrated, or relearned after replacement or maintenance. These functions are suitable for a wide range of makes and models.

• Oil service reset (Service): Resets the maintenance interval and service light after an oil change.
• Electronic parking brake (EPB): Releases and initializes the electric handbrake for safe brake maintenance.
• Battery management system initialization (BMS): Registers a new Battery for correct charging strategy and energy management.
• Steering angle sensor initialization (SAS): Calibrates the steering angle sensor after alignment or steering component replacement.
• Diesel particulate filter regeneration (DPF): Performs a forced regeneration of the soot filter and clears fault codes.
• ABS pump bleeding (ABS): Activates the ABS system to remove air from the brake circuits.
• TPMS reset: Recognizes and learns new tire pressure sensors after replacement.
• Throttle body learning (ETC): Calibration of the throttle position after cleaning or replacement.
• Injector coding: Programs the identification codes of new injectors into the ECU.
• Transmission adaptation (CVT): Resets learning values of the automatic transmission for improved shifting performance.

• OTOFIX Cloud Report Management: All diagnostic reports are automatically saved in the OTOFIX Cloud, allowing them to be easily managed, archived, and accessed from any device with internet access.
• Easy sharing and printing: Reports can be directly shared via email or wirelessly printed via Wi-Fi from the tablet, without the intervention of a PC. This speeds up customer communication and internal documentation.

After the first year, the license can be renewed for an annual fee. The device remains fully functional for already supported models, even without license renewal. However, new software updates can no longer be installed, and some online features may be limited or no longer supported.
