The Topdon UltraDiag update license offers a one-year software extension for your diagnostic device. This license is specifically designed for users who want to continue using the latest vehicle coverage and newest diagnostic features. By updating the software, the device remains compatible with new car models and recent system updates from manufacturers.
Without an active license, the diagnostic device will no longer receive updates. The device remains functional with the last installed software version, but new models and expanded service functions will no longer be added. A software extension ensures that the investment in your equipment yields maximum benefit and the functionality stays current.

How does it work in practice?
Activating the software extension is a simple process that is entirely digital. Follow the steps below to activate your license.
- Order the license: Place the order and enter the serial number of your diagnostic device in the remarks field of the shopping cart.
- Receive the code: You will receive the digital activation code within 24 hours via WhatsApp or email.
- Enter the code: On your Topdon device, go to the update menu and enter the received code.
- Download updates: After successful activation, you can immediately start downloading all available software updates.
Serial number information
For license activation, the serial number of your Topdon device is required. This number consists of 12 characters. Make sure to note this number correctly and enter it in the remarks field during the ordering process. You can find the serial number in one of the following places:
- Settings menu: Navigate to the "Info" or "About" screen in the settings of the diagnostic device.
- Back of the device: On many models, the serial number is on a sticker at the back.
- Original packaging: The serial number is often also found on the box in which the product was delivered.
