Activating the software extension is a simple process that is entirely digital. Follow the steps below to link the license to your device:
- Place your order and enter the serial number of your Topdon TopScan Master in the remarks field during checkout.
- You will receive the digital activation code within 24 hours by email or WhatsApp.
- Open the TopScan application on your smartphone or tablet and log in to the account linked to your device.
- Navigate to the menu for profile settings or license management.
- Enter the received code to extend your software subscription by one year.
Serial number information
For processing the update license, the serial number of your device is required. This number, which usually consists of 12 characters, must be entered during the ordering process in the designated remarks field. You can find the serial number in the following locations:
- Physical dongle: The number is often printed on a sticker on the TopScan dongle itself.
- Application: In the settings or profile menu of the TopScan app, you can view the device information and the associated serial number.
- Original packaging: The serial number can also be found on the product’s packaging box.
