Activating the software extension is a simple process carried out directly on the device.
- Place order: Add the update license to your shopping cart and enter the serial number of your diagnostic device in the remarks field during checkout.
- Digital delivery: You will receive the unique 12-digit activation code digitally within 24 hours via email or WhatsApp.
- Enter code: Open the application on your Topdon device, navigate to the update or profile menu, and enter the received code.
- Activate and update: The device verifies the code online. After successful verification, the new expiration date is set, and you can immediately download the latest software updates.
Serial number information
For software activation, the correct serial number of your device is required. This number consists of 12 characters. Make sure to note this number correctly in the remarks field of your order. You can find the serial number in the following locations:
- Back of the device: The serial number is listed on a sticker on the tablet’s casing.
- Settings menu: Navigate in the software to ‘Settings’ or ‘Info’ where the system details, including the serial number, are displayed.
- Original packaging: The serial number is often also found on a label on the outside of the packaging box.
