The Topdon ArtiDiag 800 update license offers users a one-year software extension. This license is designed to keep the functionality and vehicle coverage of your diagnostic tool up to date. By renewing the software, you continue to have access to the latest diagnostic data and service functions for a wide range of car brands.
An active license guarantees access to all new system updates, including software improvements and the addition of new vehicle models. When the license period expires, the device will continue to operate with the last installed software version. However, access to new updates and certain online features requires a new, active license.

How does it work in practice?
Activating the software extension is a simple process carried out directly on the device.
- Place the order and enter the serial number of your Topdon diagnostic tool in the remarks field.
- You will receive the digital activation code within 24 hours by email or WhatsApp.
- Make sure your Topdon ArtiDiag 800 is connected to a stable wifi network.
- Navigate on the device to the menu 'Upgrade' or 'Update'.
- The new license is often recognized automatically. If necessary, enter the received code manually.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the latest software versions.
Serial number information
For correct activation of the license, the serial number of your device is necessary. This 12-character number must be entered during ordering in the designated remarks field. You can find the serial number in one of the following locations:
- Back of the device: The serial number is listed on the sticker on the back of the ArtiDiag 800.
- Settings menu: Navigate in the main menu to 'Settings' and then to 'About' to view the system information with the serial number.
- Original packaging: The serial number is usually also readable on the product’s packaging box.
