OTOFIX IM2 | Update License
The OTOFIX IM2 update license is an annual subscription that provides access to the latest software updates for the corresponding key programmer. This license activates the ability to download new versions of the diagnostic software for a period of 1 year. The updates include, among other things, an expansion of coverage for vehicle models, addition of new diagnostic functions and key programming functions, and general software improvements.
With an active license, the full online functionality of the OTOFIX IM2 remains available, including programming and coding of modules. When the license has expired, the device retains its basic functions based on the last installed software, but loses access to new updates and online features. After ordering, the update license will be activated within 24 hours based on the provided serial number.

Activating the update license grants access to the following functionalities and improvements:
- Extended vehicle coverage: Access to the most recent database with support for new vehicle models and production years.
- New key programming functions: Updates for the immobilizer system, including support for new key types and protocols.
- Improved diagnostic functions: Addition of new service functions, tests, and adjustment options.
- Software stability and bug fixes: Implementation of corrections and performance improvements to optimize the operation of the key programmer.
- Online programming and coding: Retention of access to online server functions for performing ECU programming and coding.

Serial number information:
For the activation of the software update, the serial number of your device is required. This number, consisting of 14 characters, must be entered in the comments field during the ordering process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:
- Device: On the back of the OTOFIX IM2.
- Settings menu: In the software menu under 'Settings' > 'About'.
- Packaging box: On a sticker on the original packaging.
