The OBDSTAR Key Master 5 update license provides access to the latest software updates for a period of 1 year. These updates include expansions in vehicle models, new functionalities, and software improvements for the device.
With an active license, the latest software versions can be downloaded, granting access to the most recent diagnostic functions and vehicle coverage. When the license expires, the device will continue to operate on the last installed software, but it will no longer be possible to receive new updates. After purchase, the license will be activated on the provided serial number within a period of 24 hours.

For the activation of the software update, the serial number (consisting of 14 characters) of your device is required. This number must be entered in the comments field during the ordering process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:

- Packaging box: The serial number is also listed on the original packaging of the device.
