The OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 software license is a digital license specifically for the OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 ECU flasher. This license grants access to software functionalities for reading, writing, and cloning data from various ECUs (Engine Control Units), TCUs (Transmission Control Units), and other vehicle modules.
The license activation is processed automatically after the order and usually takes 24 to 48 hours. For this activation, the serial number of the respective programmer is required.

The license activates the following core functionalities on the OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3:
- ECU data reading and writing: Supports reading and writing of EEPROM and FLASH data from engine control units via various methods.
- ECU cloning: Enables copying the complete data from an original ECU to a replacement ECU without the need for online programming.
- Connection methods: Provides support for various programming methods, including BENCH, BOOT, and OBD, for broad coverage of vehicle types and ECU models.
- Module support: Suitable for working with engine control units (ECU), transmission control units (TCU), and body control modules (BCM).

Serial number information:
For software activation, the serial number of your OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3 is required. Without this number, the license cannot be activated.
You must enter the serial number during the ordering process in the comments field. You can find the serial number in the following ways:
- Device: On the sticker on the back of the OBDSTAR KeyMaster G3.
- Settings menu: In the main menu of the device under 'Settings' or 'About'.
- Packaging box: On the sticker on the outside of the original packaging.
