The OBDSTAR ECU Master update license for configuration A is a digital software extensionwith which the corresponding configuration on the OBDSTAR ECU Master stays current with the latest software and database versions. The license isValid for 1 year and provides access throughout this period to all available software updates released by OBDSTAR for this configuration. This ensures your device remains compatible with newer control modules in passenger vehicles and electric vehicles added after your initial purchase. Configuration A includes the engine management and transmission controlof passenger vehicles, the body and chassis modules, and the battery management and vehicle control modules of electric vehicles.
After purchase, the license linked to the specified serial number of the device. Processing typically takes place within 1 business day location, after which updates can be downloaded and installed via the ECU Master software on your PC. This is a extension and no activation: the configuration must already be active on the device. Once the license period expires, the already installed software will continue to work, but new updates will only become available again after renewal.
