Launch X-431 V+ | Update License
The Launch X-431 V+ update license is a software extension valid for 1 year. This license gives users access to the latest software updates, new vehicle models, and extended diagnostic features released by Launch. With an active license, the online functionalities of the diagnostic device, such as online programming and online coding, remain available.
After the license expires, the diagnostic device will continue to function with the last installed software version but will no longer receive updates and access to online features will be limited. The license renewal code is delivered online within 24 hours after purchase via WhatsApp or Email.
Applications and functionalities:
An active update license ensures that the diagnostic device's software remains up to date and provides access to the following functionalities:
- Software updates: Access to the latest vehicle software, feature improvements, and bug fixes released by Launch.
- Extended vehicle coverage: Addition of new car brands and models to the diagnostic database.
- Online programming and coding: Ability to program and code online for specific vehicle brands, which requires an active license.
- Technical support: Access to Launch's online technical database and support services.

Serial number information:
For the activation of the software update, the serial number of your diagnostic device is required. This number, consisting of 12 characters, must be entered in the comments field during the ordering process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:
- Device: On the back of the X-431 V+ tablet.
- Settings menu: In the software menu of the diagnostic device under 'Settings' or 'Info'.
- Packaging box: On a sticker on the outside of the original packaging.
