Launch X-431 Pro V | Update License
The update license for the Launch X-431 Pro V provides access to the latest software updates for a period of 1 year or 2 years. These updates include new vehicle models, updated data for existing models, and improvements to diagnostic functions. This keeps the vehicle coverage of the diagnostic device up to date.
An active license is a prerequisite for downloading software updates and using online features, such as online coding. When the license has expired, the already installed software and offline functions remain usable. The renewal code for the license is delivered online within 24 hours after ordering via email or WhatsApp.
Applications and functionalities:
An active license provides access to the following functionalities:
- Software updates: Regular updates of the diagnostic software, including the Android application and the firmware of the VCI.
- Extended vehicle coverage: Addition of new car brands, models, and systems to the database.
- Online features: Access to internet-based functions, including online coding for specific vehicle modules.

Serial number information:
For the activation of the license, the serial number of your diagnostic device is required. This number, consisting of 12 characters, must be entered in the comments field during the ordering process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:
- Device: On a sticker on the back of the tablet.
- Settings menu: In the device's software menu under 'Settings' or 'Info'.
- Packaging box: On the original box of the product.
