Autel MaxiSys MS909 | Update License
The Autel update license for the MaxiSys MS909 extends the period for receiving software updates by 1 year. This license provides access to the latest software improvements, expanded vehicle coverage for new vehicle models, and new diagnostic functions released by Autel.
After ordering, the license is automatically activated within 24–48 hours on the serial number you provided. An active license is necessary to use online features such as programming and coding, and to receive updates for the latest vehicle models. After the license expires, the scanner will continue to operate based on the last installed software, but it will no longer be possible to download updates or use online features.

An active update license provides access to the following capabilities:
- Software updates: Access to the latest software versions, including software improvements and fixes for detected errors.
- Expanded vehicle coverage: Support for the newest vehicle models and systems added after the previous license period.
- New functionalities: Access to newly developed diagnostic functions and service capabilities.
- Online programming and coding: The ability to perform online functions, which require an active connection to the Autel servers.

Serial number information:
To activate the update license, the serial number (14 characters) of your scanner is required. Enter this number in the comments field during the ordering process. The serial number can be found in the following locations:
- Device: On the back of the MaxiSys MS909 tablet.
- Settings menu: In the software via 'MaxiSys' -> 'Settings' -> 'About us'.
- Packaging box: On the sticker on the outside of the original packaging.
